Elon Musk just tweeted "who controls the memes, controls the Universe."
It's true.
If you can make a meme, you can share your message.
But how do you make a meme? Download an app? Find pictures of cats? Like...how the f do you do it?
A lot of people stop at this point.
It's easy to have a meme idea.
What's harder is to make a meme.
It's easy to have an idea for a company, a hobby, writing a long letter of gratitude to your 9th grade English teacher.
What's harder is to actually do it.
F. Scott Fitzgerald once said, "genius is the ability to put into effect what is in your mind. There’s no other definition of it."
But how?
Asking "how" is important, as long as you realize nobody will ever give you the answer.
The only person who can figure out "how" is you.
If there was an article on WikiHow for how to do it, it would be done by now.
You can't be a trailblazer for a trail that already exists.
You can't blaze a trail if you need a guarantee of where the trail ends.
You are making the trail! You don't know where it ends!
For things like baking a cake, you need a recipe. You can't just "wing" it, unless you're extraordinarily intuitive about flour to sugar to butter ratios.
Yet we've been raised in a world that treats everything like a cake.
Always looking for instructions, the checklist, the person holding the stamp of approval.
Yet for most things, the stamp doesn't exist. The only "how" is to just try your best.
"Genius is the ability to put into effect what is in your mind. There’s no other definition of it."
There's no other definition of it.
Quote I'm Pondering
"Oh, the devil's inside. You opened the door, you gave him a ride. Too young to know, too old to admit—that you couldn't see how it ends."
